This NVS parameter holds the Balancer Calibration for the Home side. This parameter
is a value, that can either be positive or negative, and is used to tell the firmware
how far off its readings are when it tries to find the position of the balancer
arms on the drum.
When the balancer tries to find the locations of the arms on the drum, it spins the drum
and everytime the sensor is triggered it saves the position. This position however is not
the exact position of the arm, or the arm tab. There are timing issues and the fact that
we trigger on the tab edge that must be accounted for. This is what this calibration
parameter does. It is added to each arm position in order to compensate for the problems
mentioned above.
This parameter is normally found by the firmware when using the calibration command
"load calibrate". This should never be changed manually, if it is changed manually it
will most likely have undesirable results.
Home side and Away side will have different compenstation parameters because of low-level
firmware timing issues that must be compenstated for.
